Making It Easier for Veterans to Access Eye Care
External Provider Scheduling (EPS) & VA Community Care
Cape Fear Eye Associates is proud to support our Veterans through the VA Community Care Network and External Provider Scheduling (EPS).
External Provider Scheduling is a VA program designed to make it easier and faster for eligible Veterans to receive care from participating community providers. Through EPS, VA scheduling teams can view designated appointment availability and schedule authorized Veterans directly with Cape Fear Eye Associates, helping reduce delays and simplify the scheduling process.
What This Means for Veterans
For Veterans who have been approved for Community Care, EPS can provide a more streamlined connection between the VA and Cape Fear Eye Associates. Instead of multiple calls between the VA, the Veteran, and the provider's office, the VA can coordinate an initial appointment directly based on available appointment times.
Once your appointment is scheduled, our team will work with you to provide the comprehensive eye care you need and coordinate your care in accordance with your VA authorization.
Comprehensive Eye Care Close to Home
Cape Fear Eye Associates has been serving Fayetteville and the surrounding communities for decades, providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care across a wide range of specialties.
We are honored to care for the Veterans in our community and are committed to making their experience as convenient, coordinated, and comfortable as possible.
Are You a Veteran Seeking Community Care?
Veterans must receive approval and authorization from the VA before receiving care through the VA Community Care Network. If you believe you may qualify for Community Care, please contact your VA health care team for assistance with eligibility and referral authorization.
