Dr. Madison Hunt is passionate about providing compassionate, personalized eye care and helping patients achieve and maintain healthy vision. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and believes in taking the time to listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and educate them about their eye health.

Originally from East Tennessee, Dr. Hunt developed an interest in optometry through her early experience working in an optometry practice as a technician; that experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could combine her interest in health care with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ daily lives through their eyes and vision.

History and Education

​Dr. Hunt earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from East Tennessee State University before attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.

During optometry school, Dr. Hunt received extensive clinical training at the Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry in a variety of settings, including primary eye care, ocular disease, pediatrics and other specialty clinics. She developed a strong interest in providing comprehensive eye care while working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Dr. Hunt’s clinical training included rotations at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, where she provided comprehensive eye care for veterans, and at Hillcrest Vision in Winston-Salem and Mocksville, North Carolina, where she gained experience managing a wide range of ocular conditions and providing comprehensive family eye care.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Hunt enjoys providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, including routine eye examinations, management of ocular disease, post-operative care, and the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of eye conditions. She is committed to staying current with advances in optometry and providing each patient with individualized care to help them achieve their best possible vision and long-term eye health.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with her husband, cats, family, and friends. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and listening to Taylor Swift. She is excited to serve the Fayetteville community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients.
