Close any unused programs
Situate yourself in a quiet area; turn off any ambient noise such as music, televisions, video games, or other noisy electronics.
Close the door to your room if there are others in your house.
Only allow another person with you in the room if you want them involved in your medical care.
Align the lighting in the room so that it shines on you; this will allow the doctor a better view of your face and your eyes.
If you have a small flashlight (or telephone flashlight), have that near you in case the doctor asks you to shine light on any problem areas.
Schedule your appointment today. We are ready to help!
Now Offering Telemedicine
Telehealth appointments may be conducted by videoconferencing, video images, still (high quality photo) images, or by telephone conference. This appointment will not be the same as a direct patient/health care provider visit.
Potential risks to this technology, including interruptions, unauthorized access and technical difficulties may occur.
In an emergency situation, I understand that the responsibility of the telehealth specialist or provider may be to direct me to emergency medical services, such as emergency room. Or the telehealth provider may discuss with and advise my local provider. The telehealth specialist’s or provider’s responsibility will end upon the termination of the telehealth connection.
